Apical or sections cultured under high light intensity (150 µmol m?2 s?1) ventilated six times a day with CO2-enriched air successfully proliferated without sucrose, whereas did not proliferate well if 0.5% lower. More roots formed when added to medium. acclimatized irrespective treatment root biomass transferred ex vitro conditions. This is first report photoautotrophic micropropagation, our results confirm importance proper gaseous exchange attain autotrophy during propagation.
